Technical Specifications

PRICE $1500

• Made from (schedule 40) ranging 1.315” – 2.375” OD either hollow steel or hollow aluminum
• Pipe length can range from  1’-0” – 4’-0”
• Connection points ranging #6 – #9 corner kee clamps, depending on pipe size (breaking load 1500lbs)
• Apparatus completely disassemble for ease of travel
• Rig requires, ¼” alley key and torch wrench to apply proper set screw pressure (canadian tire)
• Weight of unit is dependent on material used

PRICE $300 – 500

• Made from either:
– (schedule 40) ranging 1.050” – 1.900” OD hollow steel
– solid steel ranging .750” – 1.000”
• Hoop standard range from 24’ – 42” but can discuss going beyond standard limit
• Tab or tabless
• Weight of unit is dependent on material used

PRICE $1200

• Hollow steel insert (schedule 40) 1.315” OD
• Can be sleeved in brass or chrome (wall thickness .050”)
• Please note sleeves are not sold in Canada and require a brokerage fee at border
• Total pipe OD 1.365
• Pipe length can range from 8’ – 16’
• (¼”) steel 8” round base plate welded to hollow steel at bottom, with rated bolt
• (⅜”) steel wire rope ran through complete system for rigging point, (copper crimping)

• (¼”) steel 12” base plate with welded flange on accommodate rotating point at bottom of pole

• Standard range from 24” – 36” but can discuss going beyond standard limit
• Tabbed
• Weight of unit is dependent on material used
• Leads not provided

PRICE $800

• ¼” steel square plate, size can range from 12” – 18” squared
• ½” bolt holes, properly sized (4-6 locations)
• 8” cleat welded
• ½” x 6” rated bolts (4-6 required)
• Seismic rated glue
• Site inspection is required
• Must be in a vertical position, cannot be mounted horizontally and requires ground anchor as back up

RIGGING & INSTALLATION

FLYING SOLO offers professional rigging installations from basic static points to full range pulley systems.  We can offer a variety of tie off points and/or plates solutions including backup ground anchor.  This will require a site inspection prior to providing a quote.

Flying Solo does not automatically provide an engineering sign-off stamp.  The client will be required to sign a waiver and submit to the company upon installation. For an added cost we can engage our production engineer to review your plan, if desired.

Artists' Play Dance + Circus Arts Install

This east end Toronto Circus and Dance studio opened its doors in 2020.  The installation includes aerial points both hard rigged, and pulley points including anchor plates and tie offs, as well as swag lines.

Casa Loma - Legends of Horror

Liberty Financial ~ Hit & Run ~ La Rouge Entertainment

Flying Solo adapted a new design to Casa Loma’s Legend of Horror. The new aerial scenarios were co-created with Jamie Holmes and Hit and Run.  These multiple aerial scenarios include apparatuses such as  the birdcage, the beast & damsels truss, the hanging bathtub girl and the vamp chandelier.
The four unique locations created a variety of unique rigging solutions, suspending between trees to a basic static point indoors.
